Avicii tribute concert

On Thursday, December 5th, we will be streaming the entire Avicii Tribute Concert live from Stockholm, Sweden. Avicii, whose real name is Tim Bergling, suffered from mental health issues and sadly committed suicide on April 20, 2018, at the age of 28.

This concert is being put on by the Tim Bergling Foundation, not only to celebrate the life of producer, songwriter and DJ, Avicii, but also to promote the importance of mental health awareness. The lineup includes DJ performances by David Guetta, Kygo, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke and live performances by  Rita Ora, Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert, Alex Ebert, and more.

You can listen to the star-studded show on FireLane this Thursday (12/5) at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET.

The Tim Bergling Foundation will support many causes including climate change and nature conservation, and will start with a strong focus on mental health and suicide prevention. “Tim wanted to make a difference" explained his family in a statement earlier this year. "Starting a foundation in his name is our way to honor his memory and continue to act in his spirit.”

Mental health issues are very real and you’re not alone. If you or anyone you know is struggling with depression or is in distress, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: 1-800-273-8255.
